Lesson  1:  Ping-pong and Basketball

一、教学目标:

1、知识技能:(1)能听、说、读、写单词:basketball, ping-pong, sport,  runners, shorts, T-shirt,能根据具体的情况,进行问答。

           2)能运用What’s your favourite sport? My favourite sport is_____. I like____best.谈论有关运动的话题

2、过程与方法:通过情景创设,让学生理解句意,并在情景中学习单词,培养自主学习的能力,获得与同学交流的方法。

3、情感态度:培养学生良好的运动习惯。

二、教学重难点:

能听、说、读、写的单词:basketball ping-pong soccer badminton sport  runners T-shirt shorts  能根据具体的情况,进行问答。

能听懂、会说句型What’s your favourite sport? My favourite sport is_____. I like____best. 及同学之间谈论此话题。

三、课堂教学资源:

“soccer”指英式足球,即按英国足球协会制定的规则进行的足球运动,我们常说的风靡全世界的足球指的就是“soccer”“soccer”“association football”的简写,起初简称“assoc”,后又简称“soc”,最后写成“soccer”“socker”
    “football”有两种含义:“American football”“rugby football”“American football”指美式足球,简称“football”“rugby football”指的是橄榄球,简称“rugby”

四、教学过程:

(一)Warm- up:

1.    Greeting     

2.    Game: Do and guess. (引导学生使用词组 a pair of )

设计意图:游戏不仅复习了前面所学 play checkers, read the book, draw a picture, sing a song, play badminton…… 并为新授做准备。

(二)New concept

1Teach word

T: What is he/she doing? (生踢足球Show the card of soccer) Spell it together. 

TDo you like to play soccer?

S:  Yes, I do.

TSoccer is a sport. Can you play soccer?

SYes, I can./No, I can’t.

T:  What can you play?

S:  I can play basketball.(大量练习几种球类)

设计意图:师生问答、生生问答,用旧知引出新知,使学生易学、乐学。

大量操练,学以致用,训练学生的听说能力,(Show the cards to remember “basketball , ping-pong…… ”)

(插入教学讨论以便理解soccerfootball

2Teach sport:

T: Ping-pong, basketball, badminton and soccer are sports. My favourite sport is _____ .I like ____best. What’s your favourite sport?.

设计意图:(学生大量练习此对话,以此突出重点句型的实际运用,表达个人的情感)

3Teach clothes:

T: What do you wear to play_____?

S:I wear a T-shirt runners and shorts.

Practice the three words with questions.

设计意图:说说、演演的形式加深了学生对句型的理解,利于他们在现实中运用。

4Student book

The students listen to the text and answer some questions about it . eg :

1 What is Jenny’s favourite sport ?

2 Does LiMing have any runners?

3Does Jenny have any ping-pong balls?

4 Where do they buy?

5Practice

Talk about the sport they like to the class.

设计意图:训练学生听音做事能力是必不可少的,更是教师使学生能力得到提升的关键一步。
